Since
its establishment the school has been gradually growing in size. The number
of students was only 200 in the year of its establishment and has now increased
to more than 1500 gradually. The quality of education and the services it
provides has also been improved considerably through these years.
The school has been nominated by one of the local newspapers as the best private
school in the country according to a recent survey.
The
school was able to gain high academic achievements continuously for the last
many years. The students' rank top position in the country's standardised
national examinations. For example in the 2002/2003 academic year national
examinations, for grades 8 and 10, the students scored the following:
Grade
8 - 92.93% of students got 90% and above.
Grade 10 - 93.75% of the students got 3.00 and above [grades are given in
letters (A to F) the maximum grade point is 4].
Grade 12: 100% of the students accepted for degree program.
In addition in 2002, our student stood first in the country's National Secondary
Schools
Academic Competition and the school won a cup.
